1. The service
कर्मठ Connect (Karmath Connect) ("we", "us") runs this website. The legal name and registered address of the business that operates it will be published on this page. We let registered businesses search verified worker profiles and, with a paid plan, post jobs and see candidates' contact details and CVs. We are not the employer of any candidate.
2. Registration and verification
- Registration is free. You must be a genuine business and give accurate details, including GSTIN or registration proof.
- You can browse while we verify your business; posting jobs and unlocking contacts open after approval and need an active plan.
- If your business name or GSTIN is wrong, contact us: our team corrects it after checking your documents. Invoices already issued keep the details they were issued with.
3. Job postings
- Posting a job uses one of the job postings in your active plan (section 4); saving a draft or editing a posted job does not. A job still open when your plan ends stays open. Postings must describe a real vacancy with honest pay, shift and location.
- Do not put phone numbers, email addresses or other contact details in a posting — a posting that contains them is refused — and never ask candidates for money.
- Postings must comply with applicable labour and anti-discrimination law. We may edit or remove a posting that does not.
4. Plans, free trials, CV downloads and GST
- We offer plans for a fixed period, counted in days, months or years (for example 7 days, 3 months or 1 year); a month or a year is a calendar month or year in Indian Standard Time. Each plan includes a number of job postings, a number of CV downloads and an absorption fee rate. Plans and their prices are shown to registered companies on the plans page after they log in, and on your invoice when you buy one. The price and terms on your invoice, or on the plans page when you start a free plan, are the ones that apply to you.
- We send an invoice; you pay by bank transfer, UPI or cash quoting the payment reference; your plan starts after our team confirms the payment. If you buy a paid plan while another paid plan is running, the new plan starts when the current one ends. Our team may agree a different price with you before the invoice is issued; the invoice then shows the agreed price.
- We may offer a free plan (a trial). A free plan has no invoice and no charge for the plan itself. Each free plan can be started once per company, only by an approved company that has not bought a paid plan, and only while no other plan is running. It gives the job postings, CV downloads and absorption fee rate shown when you start it, for the period shown, and ends on its own. If you buy a paid plan during a free plan, the paid plan starts as soon as our team confirms the payment and its job postings are used from then on; the free plan's unused CV downloads stay usable until the free plan ends. The absorption fee (section 5) applies to a candidate you hire through a CV download from a free plan.
- One CV download reveals one candidate's contact details and CV. Unlocking the same candidate again is free. An unlock is final and non-refundable, including if the candidate does not respond.
- CV downloads and job postings can be used only while the plan runs. Unused CV downloads and job postings expire when the plan ends and are not refunded or carried over.
- Plan prices include GST. Once we are registered for GST, the invoice shows the taxable value and the GST contained in the price, with our GSTIN. Until then no GST is charged and the price is the full amount.
- Candidate contact details may be used only to recruit for your own vacancies — not shared, sold or used for marketing.
5. Hires and the absorption fee
When you hire a candidate you found through कर्मठ Connect, you must mark them as hired on कर्मठ Connect and give their monthly basic salary.
For each candidate you hire, you pay an absorption fee: the percentage of the candidate's monthly basic salary set by the plan whose CV download you used to unlock that candidate, even if that plan has since ended — or, if the download did not come from a plan, the plan active when you recorded the hire. We invoice the absorption fee separately; it is payable on the terms stated on that invoice.
No charges for replacement if the candidate leaves before 3 months: if a hired candidate leaves within 3 months of joining, we help you find a replacement and charge no absorption fee for that replacement hire.
6. Disputes
If you disagree with an invoice — for a plan or for an absorption fee — tell us within 15 days of the invoice with your reasons. Our team will review the invoice, the payment record, your unlocks and the hire record, and may contact you before deciding.
7. Suspension
We may suspend an account for false registration details, misuse of candidate data, fake postings, asking candidates for money, or unpaid invoices.
8. Complaints
Write to support@karmathconnect.com or call +91 75674 41565, with "Grievance" in the subject. The name and contact details of our Grievance Officer will be published on this page.
We acknowledge every grievance within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days of receiving it.
9. Liability and law
We verify identities and businesses with care but cannot guarantee a candidate's conduct or suitability; hiring decisions and employment terms are yours.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts where our registered office is located have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
